TESTING GALILEO

On ESA(European Space Agency) I found this video and got an idea of visualising 'light'. Actually we have been exposed to all technologies using satellite calculating speed to distance, and transforming that information into GPS and stuff. Before I try to have my own way of visualising and spatialising 'speed of light' as a design student, I'm now gathering graphical material of scientist's view.

Galileo is a reality.

The first two satellites of the constellation were launched by the first Soyuz from French Guyane last October. Since then they have transmitted the first Galileo signals that will carry the different services to be provided by the global European navigation system. Currently these In Orbit Validation Satellites are being tested, calibrated, in particular from the ground station of Redu, Belgium.
