TRYING TO BE AN EXPLORER
I remember I was lost quite often visiting Barbican. There was even a time that I was in the cafeteria, went to toilet (I was of course already not sure how to get there but I thought once I find a way in, I can find way out. But it didn't work like that in Barbican.) couldn't find the way to get back where I was. It was very acceptable mistakes as a first time visitor, but not anymore. I've been to Barbican more than 20 times for sure, still quite confusing to get somewhere exactly. Still asking to information booth.
Without any specific thoughts, I immediately decided to go to Barbican and record whole journey of mine there. One of the reason I used my laptop is that I was so used to bring it to Barbican to use wifi, sitting all day long in that huge building with it. People might be thinking it's just normal to do it and don't bother me recording myself. To add something more to that, I thought it could be different to shoot in the opposite way rather than clicking the camera as usual.
There are 6 videos total, 5 minutes each, exploring on different levels, inside and outside. The video above is showing what I was doing and how it shows background (the site). I'm trying to upload all of videos, with a bit of editing and speed adjustment. Having few ideas of analysing, but it's still so rough to do something about it. Still need to explore and produce lots of materials with researching.
